Can I send you a scan I did myself for restoration?

You can send your own scan, however, we highly recommend our professional scanning for the crispest, highest resolution possible on your images.

How can I get my photos or tapes to you for scanning?

Customer drop-off and pick-up at our home office in Lisle, Illinois is available for free with appointment. Items requiring shipping can be mailed via USPS, with shipping costs factored into your initial quote. Spectre is not liable for any lost or damaged items resulting from USPS shipping.

When will I get to see my restored images?

A lot of factors go into turnaround time, including complexity and availability, but most images can be expected between 1 - 2 weeks from the start date. A return date will be included with your initial quote.

Do you provide prints or DVDs?

No, we do not provide physical media. Your restored images and videos will be returned to you in digital form via the cloud download service Google Drive, where it will be hosted for one month. Once downloaded, the customer will have unlimited use of the files for printing at a professional service, home DVD burning, or upload to social media. They are your memories to enjoy!
